Government College Jhandutta was established in 2007 with the H.P. Govt. Notification No. EDN-A-CHHA(7)1/2007 dated Feb. 06, 2007, to provide educational facilities to the students of the far-flung areas, specifically of Kot Dhar. From the session 2016-17, the college has been functioning on its premises. In the New campus, the new college building was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on July 12, 2016, and thereafter the college has been functioning on the new campus.
