The Department of Music was established in 2007. In 2019, the department started its post with B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) in music vocal. But in 2022 the department also started its post with B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) in instrumental music. Over the years since the inception of the college, the department has grown in tune with the demands of the institution and improved its strength. As of today, the Department of Music is one of the servicing departments which impart sound knowledge in music. Two faculty members are working in the department of Music.
At present the Department of Music offers undergraduate programmes.
At present the department has the strength of 100 appearing students in B.A. Music.
The music department organizes music programmes from time to time. All students of music take interest in all cultural activities.
